This unit was driven off of a prior unit with this customer, except with a twist. The customer wanted this Vertical Grain Doug Fir entry to not only have functional windows to enjoy all four seasons, but they wanted SDL grids on the screens. After some prototyping this was the result.
Insulated glass for when its cold, screens for the rest of the year. Secured on Emtek ball bearing hinges and sealed with kerf-in weatherstrip around the windows. The unit was also spec’d with a Trilennium 3000 multipoint with stainless steel strikes.
